Dream Fiction (VR) Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Questions | FAQ

What makes the Dream Fiction VR experience different?

Many VR experiences revolve around games, action, or spectacular visuals.

Dream Fiction uses VR precisely as a space to slow down .

The goal is not just fun or adrenaline, but:

  • reflection
  • imagination
  • personal insights
  • mental peace

That positions it closer to immersive wellbeing and transformation than to traditional VR.

Want to know more?

From what age is the VR experience?

Recommended age of 12 years and older. Almost all well-known VR headsets, such as the Meta Quest, Pico, HTC Vive, and systems from Sony (PlayStation VR), recommend use from age 12. We adhere to the guidelines of the experts within the various manufacturers.

You are personally responsible for making decisions based on the guidelines.

In addition, we ensure that the sessions are shorter with a break in between to allow the experience to be gentle on your eyes as well.

How long are the VR experiences?

12 minutes at a time. All experiences consist of 2 sessions (so 2 x 12 minutes). There is a short break between the sessions.

Many people are not (yet) accustomed to using VR. Therefore, manufacturers maintain sessions of between 20-30 minutes. For children (12-16 years), generally shorter sessions of 15-20 minutes followed by a short break.

Can I also eat and drink at Dream Space / Dream Fiction?

Limited selection of soft drinks for sale to private individuals. No food or hot drinks. There are multiple options for the "Human Boost Program" or renting the location.

VR makes me dizzy?

Yes! In some cases, you can get dizzy from VR, especially if you are not used to it yet. This phenomenon is also known as motion sickness or cyber sickness .

This can occur because your eyes and sense of balance receive conflicting signals. Because you are sitting still and relaxed, and the experiences have been made somewhat calmer, the risk is significantly lower.

In addition, we have also shortened our sessions for this from just 12 minutes to allow the brain to get used to it.

Should you still experience discomfort, it is very important to set your own boundaries , close your eyes, or take your glasses off (for a moment).

What kind of room is the VR experience in?

Our space is designed to give energy rather than take it. A place that detaches you from the everyday and invites you to think differently, see more clearly, and create freely. The experience itself is peaceful (leaning back) in a recliner. Time for relaxation, creativity, and finding yourself!
